KARACHI: The passing out parade of the 122nd Midshipmen and 30th Short Service Commission was held at Pakistan Naval Academy in Karachi.
Commandant Pakistan Naval Academy Commodore Tasawar Iqbal while addressing the parade said that the cadets were given modern training.
Commodore Tasawar Iqbal said in his address that the cadets also received training to participate in modern operations.
On this occasion, the cadets of the Pakistan Naval Academy performed a grand parade and saluted the national flag. Chief Guest Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu inspected the parade.
The men of Pakistan Navy displayed their art in a beautiful manner. Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf was saluted by the cadets.
122nd Midshipmen, 30th Short Service Commission Course passing out parade includes 50 midshipmen, 29 SSC course officers out of 73 commissioned officers.
Chief Guest Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Sidhu distributed prizes to the cadets, cadets from Palestine, Sri Lanka and Djibouti also passed out.

Earlier, Pakistan Navy held its Fleet Annual Efficiency Competition Parade on Friday at the Pakistan Navy Dockyard in Karachi, with the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Naveed Ashraf serving as the chief guest.
The event marked the conclusion of a successful and operationally accomplished year for the Pakistan Navy Fleet, which includes warships, submarines, and aviation units. Upon his arrival, the CNS was warmly received by Rear Admiral Abdul Munib, Commander of Pakistan Fleet, and a ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented.
