Lahore's air quality index (AQI) recorded 275 particulate matter, Multan recorded 248 and Karachi recorded 193.
Karachi's air is extremely hazardous to health and city ranks third among the most polluted cities in the world. According to experts, an index of 151 to 200 is harmful and 201 to 300 is extremely harmful to health.
According to experts, the air quality of the city is harmful to health, so people should be careful and use masks.

Earlier, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted scattered rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over hills in Northeast Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir in the next 24 hours.
Light to restrained rain-thunderstorm is likely at insulated places in Central South Punjab, South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Sindh, Potohar region and Islamabad.
Shallow fog in covers is likely at few plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning/night hours.
As per synoptic situation, a westerly wave was present over western and upper parts of the country and expected to strengthen in upper parts from Monday.
