Lahore: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, visited Punjab University, Lahore, where he received a warm welcome from students and university administration.
During his visit, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held a special interactive session with students, answering their questions and engaging in candid discussions. The students expressed their strong commitment to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army in the defense of the motherland.
The DG ISPR also met with the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Muhammad, and faculty members. Both students and faculty paid tribute to the Pakistan Army for its achievements, including recent successes against adversaries like India.
Participants of the session emphasized their unwavering support for the armed forces, stating that teachers and students remain united with the Pakistan Army in safeguarding the nation. They also noted that the session helped dispel doubts and confusion created by negative propaganda against the armed forces.
Moreover, attendees appreciated the awareness provided by DG ISPR on disinformation and fake news. They stressed that such sessions are essential to counter misunderstandings among the youth and to promote national unity and awareness.
