  • Ukrainian military spokesperson, Nazar Voloshyn, refutes reports of Russian forces capturing Yasnobrodivka village.
  • Voloshyn asserts Yasnobrodivka is under Ukrainian control, despite conflicting reports.
  • The denial reflects Ukraine's commitment to assert territorial integrity and counter misinformation.
On Wednesday, military spokesperson Nazar Voloshyn clarified through a broadcaster that Ukrainian forces have refuted reports of Russian forces capturing Yasnobrodivka village in eastern Donetsk region. Voloshyn emphasized, "The published information does not correspond to reality: Yasnobrodivka is under the full control of the (Ukrainian) defense forces."

The statement came amidst conflicting reports regarding the situation in Yasnobrodivka, highlighting ongoing tensions in the region. Ukrainian military authorities have consistently maintained that they retain control over the area, despite external claims suggesting otherwise.
