Specifically, morning shift institutions will operate from 7:30 am to 01:30 pm from Monday to Thursday, and conclude at 12:30 pm on Fridays.
Evening shift schools and colleges are scheduled to function from 2 pm to 7 pm on Monday and Thursday, and from 2:30 pm on Fridays.
School, colleges new timing in Islamabad
Previously, the Federal Ministry of Education prolonged the summer holidays for Islamabad’s schools and colleges until August 4, due to the prevailing heat wave.
The notification read, “Owing to the intense heat and humidity in the Federal Capital, the summer break for ICT schools and colleges is extended till August 4, 2024.” The institutions are set to recommence on August 5.
