PM Shehbaz Praises Armed Forces for Decisive Action Against India

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded Pakistan’s armed forces for giving befitting reply to India’s provocation under the Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos.

Addressing the nation, the prime minister started with Quranic verse from Surah Al-Saff (61:4) and said that India attempted to impose war on Pakistan, using the Pahalgam incident as a pretext.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the people of Pakistan, calling them proud and dignified, and said the world now sees Pakistan as a sovereign and respectable nation.

He explained that Pakistan had offered a fair and transparent investigation into the Pahalgam incident and showed patience despite India’s baseless accusations.

According to PM Shehbaz, India responded by attacking innocent Pakistanis using planes, drones, and missiles. He added that India also tried but failed to hit Pakistan’s military sites and water resources. He said Pakistan responded in a way that protected the nation’s honor and pride.

After US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Pakistan and India, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also confirmed the news. He stated that both countries had agreed to an immediate ceasefire and emphasized that Pakistan has always worked for peace and security in the region without compromising its sovereignty or borders.
