Pakistan Railways introduces Eid Special Trains from Karachi

Pakistan Railways has announced the operation of two special trains from Karachi to assist travellers during the upcoming Eid ul Adha festivities.

These trains will offer additional travel options for passengers heading to Lahore and Peshawar, easing the burden of holiday travel.

The scheduling of these Eid special trains will be finalized upon sighting the Zilhajj moon. This allows travellers to plan their journeys, ensuring a convenient and stress-free travel experience.

The first special train will journey from Karachi to Lahore, providing economy-class and air-conditioned (AC) coaches.

This variety of coach options aims to cater to passengers with different travel preferences and budgets, ensuring comfort for all.

For passengers seeking a more affordable travel option without compromising comfort, economy-class coaches will be available.

Meanwhile, those looking for a more luxurious experience can opt for the AC coaches, which offer enhanced amenities.

The second Eid special train will travel from Karachi to Peshawar, featuring coaches exclusively in the economy class.

This decision reflects Pakistan Railways' commitment to providing a comfortable and economical travel option for passengers heading to Peshawar and other northern destinations.

By offering only economy-class coaches on this route, Pakistan Railways aims to make holiday travel more accessible to more passengers.

These special trains are a welcome initiative, ensuring that travellers have ample options to reach their desired destinations during the festive season.
