ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sania Nishtar has resigned from the Senate seat.
Sources say that Sania Nishtar's resignation has been received by the Senate Secretariat, but the reasons for Sania Nishtar's resignation from the Senate are yet to be known.
It should be remembered that Sania Nishtar was elected as a member of the Senate on a PTI ticket in 2021.
Sania Nishtar has also been Special Assistant for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety to the Prime Minister of Pakistan during the PTI regime.

Earlier, Assistant Commissioner (AC) of Karachi Hazim Bangwar has been officially removed from the post.
A notification has been issued to remove Assistant Commissioner Hazim Bangwar, who is famous for his unique style.
According to the notification, Assistant Commissioner Hazim Bangwar, presently placed at the disposal of Commissioner Karachi Division, has been instructed to report Services and General Administration Department .
It should be noted that Hazim Bangwar has also obtained a bachelors degree in fashion designing, he has not only modeled but also written poetry and fiction in the past.
