As per international reports, Israel attacked al-Jaouni school in the Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza on Wednesday, killing 18 people including 6 UNRWA workers and children.

Additionally, the Israeli forces have killed more than 50 people in the West Bank.

Also, Israeli bombardment in parts of Gaza has claimed 12 lives while injuring others.

UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric condemned Israeli airstrikes on civilian and UN centers in Gaza.

António Guterres, UN Secretary-General, called out the lack of accountability for Israeli attacks on UN workers and the resultant loss of lives.

On the other hand, Israel alleged that the school was being used by Hamas; however, Hamas has denied the allegations clarifying that Hamas does not use the UN schools for any purpose.
