LONDON: Prince George of Wales, the eldest son of William, Prince of Wales and Catherine, Princess of Wales, is marking a major milestone in his education as he prepares to leave Lambrook School and enroll at Eton College this fall.
George, second in line to the British throne, is expected to complete his final day at Lambrook School on Saturday after attending the Berkshire preparatory school since 2022.
The 11-year-old prince will begin boarding at Eton College in September, following in the footsteps of his father, who was educated at the prestigious all-boys school.
George has attended Lambrook alongside his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales, bringing to a close a chapter in which the three children studied together.
Before moving to Lambrook, George and Charlotte attended Thomas's Battersea in London.
George's departure marks the beginning of his summer break and a transition to secondary education as he prepares for life at one of Britain's best-known boarding schools.
Eton College has educated generations of prominent figures, including Prince William, whose positive experience and lasting friendships at the school are widely seen as factors in the family's decision to enroll George there.
