Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has stated in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement of a ceasefire that Iran will not take any further action if Israel halts its illegal aggression.
In a message posted on social media platform Twitter, Araghchi said, "If Israel ceases its operations by 4 a.m. local time, Iran will have no response against it." He clarified that Israel has started a war against Iran, and Iran has not initiated any military actions.
He further mentioned that no agreement has yet been reached regarding a ceasefire or the end of military operations, and the final decision will be made later.
Abbas Araghchi also stated that Iranian forces continued their actions against Israeli aggression until 4 a.m. local time.
He congratulated the Iranian forces, saying they are ready to respond to any attack, and the Iranian nation takes pride in the sacrifices of its armed forces.
On the other hand, Israeli media confirmed that Iran ceased its attacks after 6 a.m. local time.
