Hassam Khan shared that he always wanted to pursue something creative. As a child, he often accompanied his friend as an extra on sets. Over time, he began to take acting seriously, and the Arts Council Karachi played a significant role in shaping his journey. Although he enrolled in a degree program at his elder sister’s insistence, he always knew he would eventually build a career as an actor.Hassam Khan revealed that he lost his father at a very young age and was raised by his mother and sister. The women who brought him up left a strong impact on his life. He learned the values of hard work and resilience from them and applied these qualities throughout his journey.
Hassam Khan also spoke about the impact of losing his father. Since he lost him at such a young age, he isn’t sure how it shaped his personality. However, he shared that losing his brother, who was also named Waleed, had a profound effect on him. He went through a very dark phase during that time. Hassam believes the name Waleed has become a blessing for him; it was his brother’s name, and now, playing Waleed in “Parwarish” has brought him recognition.
Hassam Khan also revealed that he suffered a fracture while filming a fight scene with Wali in ‘Parwarish”. During the second take, he got hit but chose to ignore the pain and continued working.
