New York: After a successful roadshow in England, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) held a colorful roadshow in New York. The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was also present at the event.
During the roadshow, Salman Ali Agha, Shan Masood, and Saud Shakeel spoke in a panel discussion with former cricketer Wasim Akram.
Shan Masood said that when he was not part of any PSL team, he still used to watch the matches. He said that PSL helped improve his performance. He also said that playing with foreign players and learning from international coaches helped him a lot.
Salman Ali Agha said that PSL teaches players how to handle pressure and helps them get ready for international cricket.
Saudi Shakeel said that before PSL, he had already played Test and ODI matches, but PSL gave him the chance to work with foreign coaches and improve his game.

Ramiz Raja said that PSL is a very good platform for young players. He said it tests a player’s mindset and gives young cricketers a chance to show their talent. He added that every player wants to become successful by playing PSL, as the league supports Pakistan cricket and allows players to play with international stars.
Wasim Akram’s Comments:
Wasim Akram said that PSL is helping bring new local talent forward and giving chances to domestic players. He said the league’s success is because of everyone’s effort and that fans enjoy watching PSL matches.He added that he left PSL as a coach two years ago, but now the level of cricket has improved, and young players are doing well.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi’s Comments:
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that PCB and PSL management are working together to improve cricket. He said prize money motivates players, and investors also benefit from PSL.He added that Pakistani players have strong talent, and the PSL helps young players improve. He said PCB wants to make PSL the best league in the world and will keep working for it.
PSL’s international roadshows are part of PCB’s plan to attract foreign investors for two new franchises. The aim is to show PSL’s value, popularity, and future growth.
