The eagerly awaited supplementary and alternate draft for the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 9) has been officially announced. The participating franchises in the upcoming PSL tournament are set to finalize their squads and make their last selections on January 26.
The drafting schedule is carefully planned, allowing teams the opportunity to replace players and make additional picks for the upcoming season. This draft enables teams to select substitutes for unavailable players, and franchises will also have two more picks to complete their rosters, focusing on the nineteenth and twentieth players.
Having already picked 18 players in the primary draft in December, the anticipation is building as PSL 9 is scheduled to kick off on February 17, 2024, in Lahore. The supplemental and alternate draft adds excitement as teams work to strengthen their sides for the upcoming cricket extravaganza.
