Three T20Is will be hosted by Durban, Centurion, and Johannesburg from December 10-14, and as many ODIs will be played in Paarl, Cape Town, and Johannesburg from December 17-22. Two tests, also a part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship 2023-25, will be played in Centurion (December 26-30) and Cape Town (January 3-7).
The national side will depart for the tour on December 2 after completing their Australian tour on November 19. After the conclusion of their African safari, the men in Green will take on New Zealand and South Africa in a three-nation series on home soil followed by the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan.
This will be Pakistan’s seventh tour to the African nation since 1994-95.
In head-to-head in 28 Test matches, Pakistan have won 6 while Proteas have emerged victorious in 28 matches. 7 matches ended in a draw. In head-to-head in 83 ODIs, Pakistan have won 30 while Proteas have emerged victorious in 52 matches. 1 match ended without a result. In head-to-head in 22 T20Is, Pakistan have won 12 while Proteas have emerged victorious in 10 matches.
