The Australian T20 squad is scheduled to arrive in Lahore on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

The PCB stated that the series is significant for both teams as a preparatory competition ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will start on February 7, 2026, in India. Pakistan will play all its World Cup matches in Sri Lanka.

This series marks an important opportunity for Pakistan to fine-tune its squad and strategies ahead of the global tournament.

Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the squads for the Pakistan Women’s cricket team ahead of their tour to South Africa, starting February 10 in Potchefstroom. The tour will serve as a key preparation for the ICC Women’s T20I World Cup 2026 in June.

Fatima Sana will continue to captain both squads, providing leadership and experience as Pakistan aim to make a strong impact on South African soil.

The squads combine seasoned players and emerging talent. Aliya Riaz, Ayesha Zafar, Gull Feroza, Muneeba Ali, Nashra Sundhu, Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadia Iqbal, Sidra Amin, and Tasmia Rubab have been included in both formats, ensuring stability and balance.
