Pakistani actress Sanam Saeed recently faced backlash after disabling comments on her social media post praising Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz's reforms. In her post, Saeed lauded the initiatives taken by Nawaz, expressing her support for the reforms aimed at improving the socio-economic conditions of the region.

The decision to turn off comments sparked controversy among her followers, with many questioning why she chose to silence public opinion on such a critical issue. Addressing the backlash, Saeed explained that her intention was not to stifle dialogue but to maintain a positive and respectful environment on her platform.

One of her followers asked her a question about why she turned off the comments in her previous promotion video to which she replied “I don't think you guys know what it feels like to be on the receiving end of the stick. I know my intentions and my stance. But I have to save my nerves from the unfiltered wrath.”

She further clarified that her support for Maryam Nawaz's reforms was based on thorough research and a genuine belief in their potential to bring about positive change.
