Many Pakistani artists have worked in Bollywood over the years. Fawad Khan recently acted in Abir Gulal, but the filmmakers have now shelved its release. Hania Aamir was also set to make her Bollywood debut in Sardaar Ji 3 alongside Diljit Dosanjh, but the project fell through. Meanwhile, several Indian stars made jingoistic remarks against Pakistan, even as Indian forces killed innocent children during the conflict.

Rabya Kulsoom took to her Instagram and said that “she does not want to see anyone talking about artists having no boundaries here. She will hit people with tomatoes if they try to work in Bollywood. She also wants a bill to be passed banning Pakistani artists from working in India.”

The public has rallied behind Rabya Kulsoom’s stance.
