Today, the Punjab police held a press conference with Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar and released an official statement on his behalf. The police stated that Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar went to meet producer Amina Arooj during the late hours because he is usually awake for work at that time, and doctors do not allow him to go out in the sun.

Anoushey Ashraf suggested that Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar should not receive coverage on social media, while Fahad Sheikh, Dania Enwer, Rabya Kulsoom, Ken Doll, Hira Khan, and Rabia Anam Obaid made sarcastic comments about the situation. Anam Tanveer, despite having ideological differences with Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar, condemned his kidnapping and the torture inflicted by Amina and her gang.
