Pakistani audience expresses concern over Bollywood actions for distorting history

  • India's recent film, starring Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan, distorts the real story.
  • The film portrays India's defeat, with pilot Abhinandan Varthaman captured by Pakistan Airforce.
  • Despite the truth, India aims to rewrite history, portraying itself as a victor.
Bollywood films have predominantly featured propaganda, resonating with the audience in the wake of India's radicalization under the BJP government. While many countries employ such tactics, including Pakistan with its share of music videos, dramas, and films, India has taken it a step further.

In a recent development, India has produced a film, starring Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan that distorts the real story of Operation Swift Retort.

This operation resulted in India's defeat, showcased to the entire world, with their pilot Abhinandan Varthaman captured by the Pakistan Airforce in broad daylight. Despite these facts, it appears that India aims to rewrite history once again, portraying themselves as victors in this cinematic rendition.

Check out the Pakistani reaction to this history-distorting propaganda piece:
