Recently, Mehreen Raheel appeared on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast and discussed her decision to leave the showbiz industry and her life as a mother.
Talking about leaving the media industry, Mehreen Raheel said, “Motherhood is a very powerful tool Allah has given to every woman and some children need more time from the parents especially children who are differently able, my daughter needed me. It was difficult for me to leave her at home on her own or with someone but now I think that she has become independent, so, I have decided to work”.
She further added, “My daughter has taught me a lot of patience. Previously, I was the one always in a hurry. Now, I have become a calm person. I am a better human being. Motherhood taught me to accept anyone without judging”. Here is the link to the video:
Mehreen also said, “I completely trust Allah regarding my children. I have sacrificed everything in my life happily for my kids. I monitor each and everything about their life. I am giving them my full time and energy and I know that tomorrow they will be good human beings, so, I am not scared because I trust Allah”
Talking about the biggest fear, she said, “If I am gone, my kids won’t be ready for it. I am scared about leaving them. I love the little achievements of my daughter because she’s differently able, the fear that I have regarding her is how would she survive after me because this world isn’t a safe place for Allah’s angels”.
