Ismat Zaidi, a renowned Pakistani television actress known for her roles in popular dramas such as Bebasi, Mushkil, Parizaad, Ishq Zahe Naseeb, and Neem, has captivated audiences with her powerful performances.

Recently, she gained admiration for her work in hit dramas like Radd, Shiddat, and Khumaar. As a resilient woman, Ismat Zaidi has successfully navigated the challenges of life as a single parent, earning respect for her strength and perseverance.

In a recent appearance on a popular show, Ismat Zaidi candidly discussed her difficult married life, revealing the struggles she faced, including her husband’s second marriage and their eventual divorce.

Her openness about these personal challenges resonated with many, shedding light on the strength it took to overcome them and continue supporting her family.

Talking about marriage, Ismat Zaidi said, "I got married at 19. My life was going well—yes, there were adjustment problems—but it went smoothly until I was 23, after which my husband opted for a second marriage. At that time, everything fell apart. I regained my strength because of my children, who were in their teens. I was somewhat prepared for his second marriage, but I didn’t expect him to leave us for the second woman. But it did happen. I tried not to react, but that became my weakness. It was my decision to be strong and after which people thought that I am heartless but only Allah knows."

She further said, "Now, I give strength to others. I urge young women to be strong. I advise girls to become stronger and also deal with the problems in a brave manner. The most important thing is education, which brings awareness into girls’ lives. We don’t need education just for jobs; we need it for life."

She also shared that after her husband divorced her, she was left without financial support, and it was her career that ultimately helped her overcome those financial hardships.
