He revealed that his father has caused them pain, and his mother has endured this challenging marriage for a long time. He added that “he will never air the dirty laundry in public but he wanted to announce that his mother has filed for Khula after 40 years of marriage and this is the most painful decision of her life. He asked for privacy in this difficult time.”

Firdous Jamal has now responded to his son's statement. He said “There is no divorce happening between him and his wife. He added that he is a grandfather and how will they separate now. He said this is not true.”
