Hamza Firdous Jamal recently addressed his family's challenges following his father, Firdous Jamal's, controversial YouTube interview, in which he claimed to have left the family and suggested they were happier without him. Hamza felt it was important to share his mother's perspective in light of these statements.

"As a son, I prefer to keep personal matters private," he remarked. "However, my father has brought our family issues into the public eye, so it's only fair I share my perspective." He revealed that his mother had filed for Khula (divorce) after 35 years of marriage, stressing that such a decision is never made lightly. Hamza praised his mother’s strength, saying, “She endured a complicated relationship, surviving through pain and hardship in the hope that things would improve, but unfortunately, they did not.”

Hamza also alluded to his father's flaws, suggesting that while he had good qualities, his shortcomings deeply impacted the family. Reflecting on their father's battle with cancer, he shared how the family came together to support him, countering his father's claim of a lack of support. "We did everything we could for him during his illness, but it felt like our efforts were in vain," he expressed. Ultimately, Hamza reiterated the family's wish for privacy, noting, "My father has chosen his path, living life on his terms."
