Turkiye visit visa fee update for Pakistanis - March 2024

Turkiye visit visa fee update for Pakistanis - March 2024

Turkey remains a highly sought-after destination for tourists, especially those hailing from Pakistan. The country’s tourism landscape offers a rich tapestry of sightseeing and entertainment options, boasting historical sites and seaside resorts that captivate travel enthusiasts.

For Pakistani citizens with ordinary passports, obtaining a visit visa is a mandatory step before embarking on a journey to Turkey.

However, a convenient exception exists for those holding ordinary passports with valid Schengen, USA, or UK visas or residence permits. Such individuals can effortlessly secure one-month single-entry e-Visas through Turkey’s official website.

Turkey has introduced a user-friendly e-visa service, streamlining the process for both tourists and business visitors. This innovative system allows applicants from Pakistan to apply and receive their visas within minutes, eliminating the need for physical visits to Turkish missions.

How to apply

Applying for a visit visa to Turkey is a straightforward process involving three key steps: apply, pay the fee, and download. The official website, https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/, serves as the platform for completing these steps.

Upon successful application, a link to download the e-Visa is provided, and a copy is also emailed to the applicant. While passport control officers can verify e-Visas on their system, travelers are advised to keep a copy—either digital or hard copy—in case of system failures.

Turkey Visit Visa Fee

Effective January 2024, the electronic visa application process allows individuals to input required information and make payments using credit or debit cards (Mastercard, Visa, or UnionPay). The visit visa fee for Pakistani nationals stands at $60.
