The district administration imposed Section 144 due to security situation in the federal capital.

According to the district administration, no protests, gatherings or processions will be allowed in Islamabad under Section 144.

The administration says that violation of Section 144 will be considered a serious offense and immediate legal action will be taken against any attempt at illegal activity.

The administration has appealed to the public to demonstrate responsibility to maintain peace and order and not be part of any illegal activity or gathering.

Officials further say that these measures are essential to protect citizens and restore law and order, and strict action will be taken against violators.
