Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved a Rs100 billion interest-free loan program to help wheat farmers across the province.
In a high-level meeting, she directed officials to prepare a plan to increase wheat production and reduce farming costs before the upcoming sowing season.
The government will ensure a steady supply of fertilizer and offer targeted subsidies, especially for small-scale farmers.

The loans will be given before wheat cultivation starts, allowing farmers to cover their expenses without paying interest.
