PM Shehbaz leaves for Saudi Arabia to attend 'One Water Summit'

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday left for a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia to represent Pakistan at the "One Water Summit."

According to a press release from the PM Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was accompanied by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant to the PM Tariq Fatemi.

The Summit, a joint initiative by Saudi Arabia, France, Kazakhstan, and the World Bank, aims to encourage global cooperation and a unified international approach to water resource management through high-level political commitments.

At the summit, the Prime Minister is set to deliver a keynote address, focusing on the restoration, preservation, and adaptation of freshwater resources and wetlands.
