The Pakistan Army has been awarded a gold medal at the prestigious Cambrian Patrol 2024, held in Wales, United Kingdom, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
This military exercise, taking place from October 4 to 13, marks its 65th anniversary, maintaining its rigorous professional standards.
As reported by the ISPR, 128 teams from 42 countries participated, navigating challenging terrain over a distance of 60 kilometers within 48 hours while completing various specialized tasks.
Despite tough competition, the Pakistan Army team excelled and clinched the gold medal, demonstrating the high training standards and operational excellence of the force.
The Cambrian Patrol is a mission-oriented, scenario-based exercise designed to evaluate battlecraft skills, individual training, resilience, and leadership.
The exercise consists of eight 48-hour phases, during which teams traverse a 60-kilometer route while carrying 32kg each.
The ISPR described this achievement as a moment of pride for Pakistan, showcasing the military's distinguished professionalism and preparedness.
