NADRA to open three new Mega Centers in Karachi

Karachi: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced plans to open three new mega centers in the city to make its services more accessible for citizens.

According to media reports, NADRA will set up these mega centers in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulberg, and Surjani Town by March 2026. Amir Ali Khan, the NADRA Sindh Director General, announced this during a ceremony at the University of Karachi.

Amir Ali Khan said that the initiative aims to provide maximum convenience to the public. He added that NADRA has been using technology to solve public issues and make its services faster and easier to access.

Amir also highlighted that people can now use most of NADRA’s services from home through the Pak-ID app, which helps save time and effort. He encouraged students and young people to help spread awareness about NADRA’s new digital services.

Last month, NADRA also made it easier for citizens to get Succession Certificates. Now, legal heirs can apply for these certificates at any NADRA center across the country, no matter where the inherited property is located. Previously, applicants could only apply in the province where the property was situated, which made the process difficult for those living in other areas.
