This is due to a weak westerly wave prevailing over the upper regions of the country, which is anticipated to persist until Friday morning.
During this period, light to moderate rainfall, along with wind/thunderstorms and light snowfall over the hills, is forecasted for Islamabad, Rawalpindi, the Pothohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Elsewhere in the country, dry and partly cloudy conditions are expected.
On Friday morning, rain, wind/thunderstorms, and light snowfall over the hills are anticipated in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and adjacent hilly areas.
Maximum temperatures in Islamabad and Rawalpindi are forecasted to range between 29-31 degrees Celsius on Friday and Saturday.
In the past 24 hours, dry weather prevailed in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and most parts of the country. Chhor recorded the highest temperature in the country at 41°C.
In Islamabad, the maximum temperature was 30°C, with a relative humidity of 76% during the morning.
Similarly, in Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature was 30°C, with a relative humidity of 52% during the morning.
