According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, with a shallow westerly wave expected to approach the extreme upper regions.
This weather pattern will result in hot and dry conditions in most areas of Pakistan on Monday and Tuesday.
However, some places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and nearby hilly regions may experience partly cloudy weather with light rain or thunderstorms.
In Islamabad, temperatures are expected to reach between 34-36°C on Monday and Tuesday, while Rawalpindi's maximum temperature is forecasted to be between 33-35°C on the same days.
Over the last 24 hours, most of the country experienced hot and dry weather, although isolated areas did receive some rain.

Dalbandin and Nokkundi remained the hottest places in Pakistan where the maximum temperature was recorded at 42°C. The maximum temperature in Sibbi, Rohri, Dadu and Turbat was recorded at 41°C.
In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 33°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 78 percent.
In Rawalpindi, maximum temperature was recorded at 32°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 74 percent.
