The Islamabad Traffic Police will now issue driving licenses to all Pakistanis, regardless of whether they live in the capital city or not. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced this during an event introducing mobile services for the Islamabad Traffic Police.
Now, anyone from Pakistan can get a driving license from Islamabad without any address-related discrimination. Three mobile vans will offer services like license renewals and learner permits at various public spots. They'll also educate people about traffic rules in schools, colleges, and on the roads.
Elderly citizens will even have the option to get their licenses at home, and students can get theirs at their educational institutions. You can book an appointment online or use a first-come, first-served token system if online slots are full.
