Bol News has been awarded the top honor for its exceptional production on World Mountain Day.
The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) presented the award to Bol News during a grand ceremony held in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Bol News representative Nadeem Khan expressed his pride, stating that achieving such recognition is a matter of great honor for the network.
The ceremony highlighted the importance of mountains and the impact of climate change, with engaging discussions and presentations. Bol News’ documentary, showcased at the event, was declared the best by WWF and awarded accordingly.
According to Nadeem Khan, the award-winning report was also screened during the ceremony, receiving immense appreciation.
The event, titled Bam Dunya Film Festival 2024, was attended by journalists from across the country. A six-member award jury unanimously declared Bol News’ report the best, awarding it the first prize.
