LONDON/TEHRAN: Amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran, the United Kingdom (UK) has recalled its diplomatic staff from Tehran.
According to the international media, Switzerland has also announced the temporary closure of its embassy in the Iranian capital due to security concerns.
The moves come as several countries reassess their diplomatic presence in Iran amid fears of further escalation in the region.
As regional tensions continue to mount, Germany has successfully evacuated 64 of its citizens from Israel, officials confirmed on Saturday.
In a related development, the United Arab Emirates announced that it has completed the evacuation of its nationals from Iran amid growing security concerns due to the escalating Iran-Israel conflict.
