WASHINGTON: U.S President Donald Trump reported more than $1.4 billion in income from his family crypto currency ventures last year, according to financial disclosures reviewed Tuesday, showing a major shift in the sources of his wealth.

According to the Reuters, the filings submitted to the U.S. Office of Government Ethics for 2025, show that Trump’s companies earned nearly $800 million from World Liberty Financial, a crypto firm he co-founded with his sons. This included more than $520 million from token sales and over $250 million from selling business interests.

He also reported about $635 million from Trump meme coin sales, according to the disclosure documents. The report also highlights how crypto currency has become the biggest driver of Trump’s income in recent years. A year earlier, he reported far lower earnings from similar ventures, showing a sharp increase in crypto-related revenue.

Overall, Reuters estimated that the Trump family has made at least $2.3 billion from crypto projects since his return to the White House in 2025. The filings also show more than $80 million in income from legal settlements with media companies and $52 million from licensing his name to overseas property developers, mainly through Middle East deals.

Despite the rise in digital assets, Trump’s traditional businesses also continued to generate income. His golf and resort properties reported more than $500 million in revenue in 2025, a 15 percent increase from the previous year. Strong growth was seen at Mar-a-Lago in Florida and his West Palm Beach golf club, while revenue declined at his Los Angeles course.

The Trump Organization said the disclosure reflects full financial transparency and described it as one of the most detailed reports ever filed by a U.S. president. A World Liberty Financial spokesperson declined to comment.
