Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has unveiled promising advancements in the transportation sector set to unfold after Eid ul Fitr. Through his official platform on X, Memon shared the uplifting news, stating, "Good news for the people of Sindh. Under the guidance of Chairman @BBhuttoZardari, the Transport Department is gearing up to kickstart new transport projects right after the Eid Holidays."

The upcoming initiatives include the second-phase launch of the Women’s Pink Bus service, scheduled to commence post-Eid. Moreover, plans are in place for new routes catering to electric vehicle (EV) buses and the Peoples Bus Service in Karachi and Mirpur Khas.

In a move to improve connectivity, Memon revealed plans for a complimentary shuttle service linking the Orange Line BRT and Green Line BRT, courtesy of the People’s Bus Service. Additionally, the government aims to strengthen the existing People’s Bus Service fleet by integrating five hundred buses in the near future.
