RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed six terrorists (khwarij) in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), on reported presence of terrorists (Khwarij), an intelligence based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in general area Razmak, North Waziristan District.
During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists (khwarij) location, resultantly, five terrorists (khwarij) were sent to hell.
In another intelligence based operation in South Waziristan District, own troops effectively neutralized terrorists (kharji) ring leader Zabi Ullah @Zakran, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as in target killing of innocent civilians and was highly wanted by the Law Enforcement Agencies.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist (Kharji) found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
President Asif Ali Zardri and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the security forces for successful operations against the terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij in North and South Waziristan.
President appreciated the security forces for eliminating a terrorist (Khawariji) ringleader during the successful intelligence-based operation in South Waziristan.
He reiterated the determination to completely eradicate Fitna Al-Khawarij from the country.
The President said the security forces were carrying out operations to end the menace of terrorism.
The whole nation was united against terrorism, he said, adding operations against Fitna al-Khawarij would continue till the complete elimination of terrorism.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the security forces for killing six terrorists, including their ringleader during the operations.
He said the whole nation stood with the security forces.
The government was determined to fully eradicate terrorism from the country, he added.
