ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned a session of the National Assembly to be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the Parliament House in Islamabad.
According to an official notification, the session has been convened by the President under Clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution of Pakistan, which empowers him to summon either House of Parliament at any time.
This will mark the 20th session of the current National Assembly and is expected to take up several key legislative matters as well as ongoing national issues.
The timing of the session holds significance as it comes amid growing political developments and economic challenges facing the country.
