ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed (Nishan-i-Haider) on his martyrdom anniversary, saying that during the Kargil War, he thwarted the enemy’s nefarious designs and made a great sacrifice for the homeland.
The prime minister said that the enemy’s attacks could not undermine the courage of Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed and that his bravery, valour, and dutifulness served as a role model for the younger generation.
“The Pakistani nation can never forget the sacrifices of its martyrs. The martyrs of the Pakistan armed forces and their families are a source of pride for me and the entire nation,” Prime Minister Shehbaz remarked.
He said that the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan armed forces in their unwavering resolve to protect the beloved homeland.
