Namibia has achieved a landmark moment in its cricketing journey, defeating South Africa for the first time ever in a T20 International. The thrilling win came in the only T20 match of South Africa’s tour, with the hosts chasing down a 135-run target on the final ball to clinch a six-wicket victory. Ruben Trumpelmann was named Player of the Match for his all-round brilliance.
Opting to bat first, South Africa managed 134 runs for 8 wickets in their 20 overs. Key contributions came from Jason Smith (31), Ruben Hermann (23), and Dwaine Pretorius (22).
