Lahore:Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed health authorities to provide free medical treatment to Pakistani patients who were force to return from india without completing his treatment.
According to the Chief Ministers Office following on going tensions between the Pakistan and India have led to several Pakistani patients cutting their medical trips short and returning home in critical condition
Taking immediate notice of the situation Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered that all such patients especially those requiring transplants or suffering from serious medical conditions be treated at government expense in Punjab.
We will not leave our people who have returned from India in the middle of their treatment said the Chief Minister emphasizing the government's commitment to supporting vulnerable citizens during this difficult time.
