Gaza: The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached alarming levels as the Israeli blockade and ongoing bombardment continue to devastate the region, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) and Gaza's Ministry of Health.
WHO Director-General has warned that more than 15,600 patients, including 3,800 children, are in urgent need of medical evacuation from war-torn areas of Gaza. With hospitals destroyed and healthcare services crippled, evacuation has become critical for survival.
The WHO emphasized the dire need for immediate removal of the sick and wounded, noting that the healthcare system in Gaza is on the verge of total collapse.
Meanwhile, Gaza's Ministry of Health has reported that eight more Palestinians, including a child, died from hunger in the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of deaths from starvation and famine to 289, among them 115 children.

Gaza is facing severe shortages of food, clean water, medicine, and basic necessities, exacerbated by the Israeli siege and the continued inaccessibility of humanitarian aid convoys.
Both the WHO and international human rights organizations have called for immediate international intervention to prevent further loss of innocent lives and to provide life-saving assistance to the besieged population.
