- Shahid Kapoor sparked buzz with his candid remarks.
- He commented on certain actors who are "full of themselves."
- Rumors suggested that Shahid was referring to Kartik or Salman Khan.
To address the rumors, Shahid appeared at the HT City office today, January 28, with his Deva co-star Pooja Hegde during an HT City Stars in the City event. During a rapid-fire round, when asked if his comments were aimed at Salman Khan, Shahid clarified, “Haan, but mujhe ek-do logo ne message kiya aisa soch ke. Main toh honestly naa aise hi baat kar raha tha, socha bhi nahi tha. But if I want to take a dig, it will never be at somebody who is so senior, so established, and who I have so much respect for. Just to clear that out!”
Shahid’s fans had faith all along, with one tweeting, “Woh Salman Khan ke bareme kuch bol he nahi sakta. He respects him a lot 🤗,” while another stated, “Salman always appreciates Shahid’s dance and performances.”
On the work front, Shahid is gearing up to impress in Deva, releasing on January 31. Playing a badass cop, alongside Pooja Hegde as a journalist, Shahid’s fans eagerly await his magic on screen.
