LONDON: Prince William is reportedly concerned about plans that could see Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, return to the United Kingdom with their children for a series of engagements and family meetings, according to media reports.
Reports suggest Harry is expected to travel to the UK in mid-July alongside Meghan and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to participate in promotional activities related to the Invictus Games and potentially meet with King Charles III.
Speculation has emerged over where the Sussex family may stay during the visit. Some reports indicate they could be accommodated at Althorp House, the Spencer family estate and former home of Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana. Other reports have suggested the family may accept an invitation from King Charles III to stay at a royal residence in London.
According to reports cited by Woman’s Day magazine, Prince William is said to be wary of the proposed arrangements, viewing them as a potential source of renewed controversy for the royal family.
The reports claim the Prince of Wales has concerns about the impact any high-profile reunion could have on the monarchy, particularly as King Charles continues cancer treatment.
