Actor Gajraj Rao also reviewed the movie, specifically applauding Ananya Panday’s performance in the historical drama. He further praised Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan for their performances in the film.

Gajraj Rao took to Instagram to share his experience of watching "Kesari Chapter 2" in theaters. He wrote that the theater was about 70 percent occupied and expressed how amazing it felt to enjoy the film in a packed cinema.

The “Dupahiya” actor praised the film, highlighting its "extraordinary screenplay packed with sharp, powerful dialogues." He also appreciated the cinematography, production design, editing, music, and other elements of the film.

Gajraj praised Akshay Kumar’s acting, calling it one of his best performances. He applauded Akshay for delivering a fantastic performance with minimal dialogue, especially before the interval.

He also praised Akshay Kumar’s performance during the climax, calling it stunning. Speaking about R. Madhavan, Gajraj Rao said that Madhavan proved some actors don't just age — they evolve smoothly, steadily, and with impact.

Gajraj Rao further praised Ananya Panday’s performance and wrote, "Do diggaj kalakaron ke beech Ananya Pandey, kahin bhi kamzor nazar nahi aatin. Unka abhinay bahut ummeed jagata hai," meaning that amidst two brilliant actors, Ananya Panday never appears weak at any point and her acting instills great hope.

The “Dabba Cartel” actor also commended the supporting cast for their outstanding performances, stating they all performed "exceptionally well." Praising director Karan Singh Tyagi, he shared that Tyagi’s work felt far beyond a debut effort, calling it "out of the park."

Meanwhile, Karan Singh Tyagi directed “Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh”, featuring Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday in pivotal roles. Although it is not a direct sequel, the film serves as a spiritual successor to “Kesari”.

The film was released in theaters on April 18, 2025, and shifts the story from the battlefield to the courtroom, focusing on the legal battle that followed the 1919 massacre.
