Gold prices have reached their highest levels ever in both global and local markets.
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce rose by $84, setting a new record of $4,039.
In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola also went up by Rs8,400, reaching a new record of Rs425,178. The price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs7,202, making it Rs364,521.
Silver followed gold’s upward trend, rising by 2.2% to $48.85 per ounce, getting close to its highest-ever level of $49.51.
