Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that the United States will “soon begin action” to keep Venezuela “within limits,”

Speaking to reporters, Trump said that America possesses “the world’s strongest military and defense equipment,” citing a recent B-2 bomber mission that flew for 37 hours to strike a designated target.

He added that he had personally met the pilots, comparing them to actor Tom Cruise, and revealed that he had placed a large order for additional B-2 bombers.

The President also provided updates on the aftermath of the recent attack on National Guard personnel and the White House. He confirmed that the attacker, who reportedly targeted National Guard members, is in critical condition.

A female officer injured in the White House assault has succumbed to her injuries, and another National Guard member remains in life-threatening condition.

“Our security personnel are serving the country with unmatched dedication,” President Trump said.
