These adjustments to fees are aimed at simplifying the passport issuance process and meeting the diverse needs of applicants. Applicants are reminded to carefully adhere to all necessary procedures, including submitting required documents and payments.

Delivery times remain at around 5 to 6 weeks for regular passports and 2 to 3 weeks for urgent passports, considering transit from Islamabad to Frankfurt. It is strongly advised that applicants verify passport availability on the Consulate General’s website before collecting them.

Applicants have the option to pick up their new passports in person during specified hours or authorize someone with a signed letter of authority. Alternatively, passports can be sent via mail with appropriate postage and a self-addressed envelope.

For lost passports, additional requirements and fees are applicable. It is essential for applicants to safeguard their passports to prevent loss and ensure a hassle-free travel document experience.

These updates emphasize the commitment to efficient passport services for Pakistani nationals in Germany, facilitating smooth travel and documentation processes.
