According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), mainly dry weather is expected across most parts of the country today, while hot conditions are likely to prevail in the plains during daytime.

However a significant change in weather is expected in the evening and night hours as rain-wind/thunderstorm activity is forecast in several regions, including the possibility of hail in some areas.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Islamabad are likely to experience scattered to isolated rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms during the evening and night. Upper regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may witness moderate to heavy rainfall at a few locations, indicating intensified weather activity.

Islamabad and surrounding areas will remain partly cloudy during the day, while strong winds, thunderstorms, and rain are expected at night, with a risk of hail in isolated pockets.

Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and northeastern Balochistan are forecast to experience unstable weather conditions with strong winds, thunder, and scattered rainfall, while hailstorms may also occur at isolated locations.

Most districts of Balochistan will remain hot and dry however, rain is expected in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, and Nushki. Gusty winds and thunderstorm activity are also likely in several southern districts.

Sindh will largely remain hot and partly cloudy, while upper Sindh may experience dust-raising winds that could reduce visibility.

In Punjab, evening and night hours may bring thunderstorms, gusty winds, and scattered rain to cities including Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, and surrounding areas. Isolated hailstorms cannot be ruled out in some regions.

Rain-wind and thunderstorm activity is also expected in southern Punjab districts such as Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Layyah, and Bhakkar.
